Fried Silver Fish: "Will that be nice?" That's what I thought when ER ordered a plate of fried fresh silver fish! And what’s the verdict? This was pretty tasty little seafood :) And guess what? I found that eating them with wasabi enhanced the flavour instead of dipping them into the mayonnaise that came along with the dish! Umm, likewise, will try wasabi with tempura next time~

Beside the snow crabs, Japanese paper steamboat, desserts, sushi is another attraction that makes us return to this particular restaurant located at Suntec City Mall. Shown here is the best plate of sushi we ever had at this eatery…not only neat in appearance, most important of all they are skillfully made and rice is compact, which offers good bites and they are really delectable!

Battura Set

Battura Set

ER's battura set. We didn't know what its name. ER had to describe it to the "uncle" who attended to our orders. While Rika ordered a poori set, I had a plain dosai/ fermented Lentil Crepe set that I ate with masala chicken again, love those spicy flavours. I found the lentil curry included in my set was extra yummy today and we washed down all these with ginger tea.

Dinner @ Changi Village

Dinner @ Changi Village

Today ER had chosen two crabs weighing about 1.3 kg each. These were meant to be cooked in two different flavours, "kam hiong" and black pepper. Somehow when the dish was presented to us, the crabs were cooked with black pepper only. We found out the restaurant had made a mistake. When we were offered to have our original orders, we declined… the dish simply looked irresistible and we were too hungry after almost waiting close to an hour to be served even though we had made reservation and ordered our food shortly on arrival. No complaints, this restaurant is always crowded. What's more it's a Saturday! The dishes here are simply delicious! Oh yes, the B-B-Q chicken wings were yummy with the lime juice squeezed over them and then served with sambal chilli sauce, so delicious!
